We are having an on-farm chicken processing this Saturday, November 5th. This is an opportunity to get pasture raised chicken at a lower price that our usual USDA facility processed chicken.
White Broilers
The normal price for White Broilers is $3.55/lb. For chickens processed on-farm, the price is $3.25/lb or $3.10/lb in quantities of ten or more. If you help process, the price is $2.75/lb. We do have openings for helpers.
Red Broilers
We only have a few Red Broilers and the ones we have will run a bit small. The normal price for Red Broilers is $3.95/lb. For chickens processed on-farm, the price is $3.65/lb or $3.50/lb in quantities of ten or more. If you help process, the price is $3.15/lb.
Stewing Hens
The normal price for Stewing Hens is $3.20/lb. For Stewing Hens processed on-farm, the price is $2.90/lb or $2.75/lb in quantities of ten or more. If you help process, the price is $2.40/lb.
