Coulee View September Meat & Egg Share Deliveries

I'm sure you noticed that your September meat & egg shares haven't been delivered yet.

We are waiting to get our first batch of hogs back from the new meat processor in Viroqua.  Driftless Meats and More just opened and we had one of the processings.   Here is an article on their opening.

Driftless Meats and More is at the location of the former Premier Meats where we used to get most of our hogs processed until they ceased operations a year ago.  We also had hogs processed at Black Earth Meats, but the recently ceased operation due to a disagreement with city hall:

So the opening of Driftless Meats and More is great news for us.  Our latest batch of hogs should be ready next week and we plan to schedule our September share delivery for the following week.
