Coulee View Family Farm has a half hog available from our last processing. This hog is processed and ready for delivery now. It was processed into the regular cuts (chops, roasts, ribs). The smoked meat includes nitrate free smoked belly bacon, Boston butt bacon and hams. The sausage meat was made into patties and packaged four to a pack. This is a nice package.
The hanging weight for this half hog was 103 lbs, so at $2.90/lb, the hog costs would be $298.70
The processing costs at the butcher came to $171.03.
So the total for the processed half hog would come to $469.73.
