December CSA Delivery Times

As mentioned in the previous post, the December meat and egg CSA shares will be delivered on December 12th.  Here are the times:

• 5:30pm to 6pm at Apple Wellness in Fitchburg
• 6:30pm to 6:45pm at the Fairshare office in Madison

December Share Deliveries and Christmas Turkeys, Ducks, Geese & Hams

December CSA Share Deliveries:  The December meat and egg shares will be delivered on Saturday, December 12th.  Times will be communicated in a later post.

Christmas Geese, Ducks, Turkeys and Hams:  We still have a number of extra pasture raised turkeys available for Christmas.  Most of the available Broad Breasted White Turkeys are in the 20 pound range.  The cost for the Broad Breasted White Turkeys is $4.85 per lb. 

There are also a couple of Bourbon Red heritage turkeys available.  These are smaller birds - about or a bit more that 10 lbs and the cost is $6.25 per lb.

 

We also raised some geese and ducks for Christmas.  The cost for ducks and geese is $6.00 per lb.

 

A limited number of uncured, no nitrate added smoked hams are available too.  These are available for $6.50 per lb.

Delivery Times for Turkeys and November Meat & Egg Shares

 

Delivery Times.  As posted earlier, Coulee View turkeys and November CSA shares will be delivered on Tuesday, November 24th.  The timing for these deliveries will be as follows:

• Noon to 12:30 at Driftless Market in Platteville
• 2:45 to 3:00 in Hartland
• 4:15 to 4:45 at the Fairshare Office in Madison
• 5:00 to 5:30 at Apple Wellness in Fitchburg

Update to Next Meat & Egg CSA Share Delivery

We need to push out our next delivery by a day.  The next meat and egg shares on Monday, evening at the times listed below.

• 8:00pm to 8:15pm at Apple Wellness*
• 8:30pm to 9:00pm at the Fairshare office on Patterson

*  Note that Apple Wellness will be closed by the planned delivery time.  If you can't meet us at this time, we can either leave your share in our freezer at the Fairshare location or we can double up your share at the next delivery which is planned for the week of Thanksgiving.  Just let us know.

Coulee View CSA Share Deliveries

The next delivery for the Coulee View Family Farm meat and egg CSA shares will be on the afternoon / early evening of Sunday, November 8th.  Times will be posted here later on Friday.  These are actually the shares that were due in October.  If all goes as planned, we expect to deliver the November shares a few days before Thanksgiving.

Updated Day and Time for September Coulee View Family Farm CSA Deliveries

I was able to re-arrange my schedule so that we can avoid the weekend delivery and also deliver on a day that our Fitchburg site is open.  So please note that we are changing the delivery date to Wednesday, September 23rd.  The delivery times will be as follows:

• 4:30 in Boscobel
• 6:15 to 6:45 at Apple Wellness in Fitchburg*
• 7:00 to 7:30 at the Fairshare office on Patterson*
• 8:00 in Deerfield

* The Fitchburg and Fairshare locations have refrigeration and freezer capability so if you can't meet us at the delivery times, we can leave your shares for later pickup.
